Over time double glazed units can break down causing condensation to build up inside the panel giving an unsightly misted appearance. Although these units cannot be repaired, it is most likely that they can be replaced. If you would like to know what causes misted panels and condensations see our blog post on the subject.

In the hot summer months it can get to the point where it is unbearable to sit in your conservatory any longer due to the heat build up and glare from the sun. We can supply new polycarbonate panels with pre-installed solar reflective inserts or if you have a glass roof, we can supply and install solar reflective film. Both of these products work by reflecting around 80% of the sun’s heat and UV before it enters your conservatory, making it feel significantly cooler. These products can also help to keep a proportion of the heat inside your conservatory in the winter helping to cut down on fuel bills. The added advantage is that blocking out UV helps to stop furniture and fittings fading and going brittle.
